Where marketing is made and approved.

Plan the month, make every article, post, newsletter and report in your own brand, sign it off on the same version, and publish it without copying a thing. Next, LaneLift will measure what it earns.

    Drafting

A week in Studio: what is live, what is being made, and what is waiting on a person, in Sandstone. Illustrative items.

The scatter

Nobody can say which version was approved.

Marketing is made in five places and approved in none of them. By the time a page goes live, the sign-off is somewhere in a thread, about a draft that has changed twice since.

  • The brief

    In an email thread.

  • The draft

In a document with four names.

  • The photos

In a shared drive, rights unknown.

  • The approval

    In a message: “looks good”.

  • The report

    Rebuilt by hand every month.

Studio puts the whole job in one place: the plan, the piece, both sign-offs and the publish, on one record you never have to write up.

How it works

Plan, make, approve, publish. One record from the brief to the live page.

Every piece is an item with one asset id, from the day it is planned to the day it goes live, and every version, check and decision is kept on it.

  1. 01 · Plan

    A month you can see.

One calendar holds every article, post, newsletter and report, with the brief, the owner and the date each one is due, counted against what was agreed.

    • A month brief, then week themes and posts drafted as suggestions to accept
    • The contract read once, so scope, deliverables and change orders stay in view
    • Holidays, launches and client dates on the same calendar
  2. 02 · Make

    Every piece in your brand.

Studio reads your brand system and drafts with it: the voice, the colors, the components your site already uses. You can write it yourself, direct the draft, or ask for the finished piece.

    • Articles and page updates written into your site’s own repository
    • Newsletters, social posts and the monthly report from the same brief
    • A library of media with its rights recorded and alt text suggested
  3. 03 · Approve

    Two sign-offs, one version.

Nothing goes out until it is checked and approved on the exact version that will publish. Change one word and the version changes, so the sign-off has to be given again.

    • Checks for brand phrases, casing, alt text, broken links and photo rights
    • Feedback kept with the version it was given on
    • A client approval given by phone or email recorded with who, when and how
  4. 04 · Publish

    Live without copy and paste.

Studio publishes approved work: it opens the change on your site, waits for its checks, merges, deploys and confirms the page is live. Newsletters are handed to your sender, never sent to a list by Studio.

    • A pull request on your site’s repository, with the approvals in its description
    • A scheduled date that holds, or moves with one change
    • A work log over every version, review and decision, which nobody has to write

Work the way you work

  • Manual

You plan, write and edit. Studio checks, records and publishes.

  • Assisted

You direct; the Web, Social and Email workspaces draft to your brief.

  • Agentic

A short request, and the finished pieces are served up for review.

Same gates in every mode. Agents draft; people decide.

The sign-off

Nothing goes live on a “looks good”.

Speed is easy to promise. Studio promises that what goes live is what was approved.

Two different people. Edit one word and the version changes: both are asked again.

  1. Pull request
  2. Checks
  3. Merge
  4. Deploy
  5. Live, verified
One article at version 4: the checks, the agency's QA and the client's approval, all on the same version, then the publish run. Illustrative.
  • Two sign-offs, on the same version, by two different people.

In an agency workspace the agency gives QA and the client gives approval. A self-serve team signs off once. Either way the sign-off is on the exact version that will publish, and the database refuses anything else.

  • Change a word, and the sign-off is asked again.

Every version has its own fingerprint. An approval belongs to one fingerprint, so an edit after approval can never ride through on an earlier yes.

  • Agents never sign off, log time or grant rights.

Those are a person’s, and the system enforces it. Anything the Navigator suggests is a card a person applies, and every source it read is listed.

  • A number in a report is one Studio computed.

The monthly report is drafted from figures Studio worked out, each with its period. A figure in the prose that is not in those facts fails its check.

Made here, measured in LaneLift

One id joins the piece to the sale.

Not yet: today Studio makes, approves and publishes, and LaneLift proves sales from calls, forms and chat. Joining the two by asset id is what we are building next.

The id is already in place. Studio mints it once, when an item is planned, and it never changes. It travels with the piece: in the branch and the page, in the pull request, on every tracked link. When LaneLift reads it, the article, the post or the newsletter that started a conversation will be followed through to the sale in the books, with its coverage stated.

Who it’s for

Built for the people who make the marketing, and the people who sign it off.

Any business’s own marketer, or any agency team doing it for them. Nothing in Studio is built for one industry.

  • Agency teams

Run every client in its own workspace, with its brand, its site and its contract. Your team gives QA, the client approves, and the scope is counted as you go.

  • In-house marketers

Plan, make and publish your own marketing with one sign-off, in your own brand, on your own site. The same checks, without the agency layer.

  • Owners who approve

One place to see what is coming, approve it, and know that what goes live is what you said yes to.

Make the next month in Studio.

LaneLift Studio is in early access for agency teams and in-house marketers. If your briefs live in email, your drafts in documents and your approvals in a thread, that’s the profile. We set up your brand and your site with you.
